A broad majority in the Danish parliament agrees on several measures aimed at helping victims of stalking.
A separate stalking provision will be created, which will both criminalize and define stalking.
“Such a provision will send an important signal to victims and perpetrators that stalking is a serious crime in line with, for example, physical and psychological violence,” the proposal presented on Monday states.
The initiative has been named “Better help for victims of stalking.”
