A mosque in Trondheim will be closed for the time being while COVID-19 infection tracing takes place. The reason is that someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, recently visited the mosque.
The person visited the Dar El Eman Islamic Center mosque in Olav Trygvassons gate.
Therefore, the mosque will be closed until Monday next week until the quarantine period for the affected persons expires.
“The municipality has a close and good collaboration with those responsible at the mosque, and the infection control office has carried out counseling at the mosque today”, Trondheim municipality states in a press release.
