In the last 24 hours, 109 corona infection cases have been registered in Norway – twelve more than the same day last week.

In the last seven days, an average of 163 corona infection cases has been registered per day. The corresponding average seven days ago was 178, so the trend is declining.

As of Monday, 6.3 million corona tests had been performed in Norway since February last year. A total of 134,339 people tested positive.

To date, 3,192,871 people have received the first dose of the corona vaccine, and 1,663,798 people have received the second dose.

On Friday, 17 corona patients were hospitalized – one less than the day before. The number is not updated on weekends.

A total of 796 corona-infected people have died in Norway since March 2020, preliminary figures show. It is not always possible to establish whether patients died of or with COVID-19.
