A total of 170 new corona cases registered in Stavanger

A total of 170 new corona cases have been reported in Stavanger in the last 24 hours. A total of 294 new cases have been registered in the Nord-Jæren municipalities.

In Sola Municipality, 38 new cases were reported on Thursday. Randaberg reported eight new cases, and Sandnes reported 78 new cases in the last 24 hours, according to the newspaper Stavanger Aftenblad.

The newspaper also reports that the number of patients on respirators at Stavanger University Hospital (SUS) has risen from six to seven on Thursday. 

One of the patients on a respirator is a person in their 20s, while the others are two patients in their 30s, three in their 50s, and one in their 70s.

In total, there were 26 corona patients hospitalized at the SUS on Thursday, three more than the day before.
