The union Fellesforbundet and NHO Luftfart came to an agreement in the mediation talks for the aviation industry. Thus, there will be no strike.

The information was confirmed by Fellesforbunded.

According to Fellesforbundet, the rates will go up by 5.9%, and the minimum wage will be increased.

If the parties had not agreed, Fellesforbundet would have taken out 434 members on strike at the airports in Kristiansand, Bergen, Trondheim, Bodø, and Tromsø.

Referendum

The mediation included ground crews such as aircraft technicians, mechanics, drivers, cleaning personnel, and other personnel related to, among other things, loading and unloading at airports.

The result will now be sent to a referendum among union members that has to take place by November 19.
