On Thursday morning, 16 cancellations were reported as a result of the aircraft technician strike: twelve by Norwegian and four by Widerøe.

Widerøe informed NTB on Thursday morning that they have four departures that have been canceled (Torp to Aberdeen via Stavanger and back the same way).

Norwegian has so far reported twelve canceled departures. This applies to the following return routes.

* Oslo-London

* Oslo-Copenhagen

* Oslo-Mallorca

* Oslo-Krakow

* Oslo-Stockholm

* Oslo-London

The two London flights are different. All the affected passengers have been notified of the cancellations, and most have been offered to travel with another aircraft to the same destination.

SAS

SAS told NTB that they have no canceled departures as a result of the strike but that they have other canceled flights due to a lack of pilots and cabin crew.

All airlines say that passengers who have not been notified that their flight has been canceled can show up for their flight as normal.

The Norwegian Aircraft Technician Organization (NFO) has taken out 106 members on strike, which has already led to dozens of cancellations of flights. NHO Luftfart has announced a lockout from Sunday, which will then lead to 421 members being forced to stop working.
