An inmate in Hedmark prison managed to escape in 2013 by digging through the wall with a butter knife. Now the man is arrested again.
The man is being remanded in custody in Oslo District Court on Tuesday, writes Dagbladet.
The Albanian was arrested in Germany and extradited to Norway on Monday, according to his defence lawyer, Bjørn Erik Rødser. He won’t say anything about what the man has done in the six years he’s been on the run.
The man wants to be released during the remand hearing, the lawyer said.
In 2013, the 29-year-old was placed in custody in connection with a major drug case.
