Among those who choose to get vaccinated in pharmacies in Norway, most are young adults

To date, more than 20,000 people have received their corona vaccine in a pharmacy, more than half of whom are under 45 years of age.

“The fact that younger people, who have been difficult to reach in the vaccine centers, now come to the pharmacies to take the vaccine is very positive,” Hanne Andresen in the Pharmacy Association stated.

According to the association, 1,500 people now receive their corona vaccine in a pharmacy each day.

Vaccines are administered at 160 pharmacies in 55 municipalities in the country.
