Labor Party (AP) deputy leader Hadia Tajik says that the AP will talk to all parties that want a change of government and aim for a majority government with the Socialist Left (SV) and the Center Party (SP).

“We are grateful that the voters have expressed that the current bourgeois government must be replaced so clearly and that there is a solid basis for doing so on our side.

“The Labor Party, as the largest party, will initiate talks with all parties that have gone to the polls to replace the current government, with the aim of forming a majority government with the Center Party and the Socialist Left Party,” Tajik said in Tuesday’s Politisk kvarter on Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK).

“Our experience is that we can get good results together with the SV and the SP, and that when we set a new course for Norway, a fairer one, it will be clear that the three parties can lead the country down a safe and steady way,” Tajik said.

Both the Labor Party and the Socialist Left Party have central board meetings at 2 PM on Tuesday.
