Aremark Municipality in Viken has decided to shut down large parts of municipal activity after a meeting of its crisis management team on Wednesday.

According to the newspaper VG, the local authorities pointed out that infection has been detected in children and employees at Aremark school and the kindergarten.

They have decided to close Aremark kindergarten on Wednesday and Thursday, as well as to close all public buildings for a week until December 1. This includes the library and swimming pool.

They have also canceled all events under the auspices of the Municipality and limited traffic between the municipal institutions. Requirements for face masks are also introduced when visiting Fosbykollen nursing home.

Aremark school continues to operate at the “yellow” level.
