Several armed police patrols moved out to Lilleby in Trondheim on Sunday. A man with a stabbing weapon is said to have threatened several people.
The police announced the incident at 7 PM on Sunday, after the man in his 30s had been arrested.
“An incident took place outdoors in Lilleby. Several people were gathered, and one of them was threatening the others. He allegedly threatened the others with a stabbing weapon,” operations manager Trond Hangaas told Nidaros.
“We are conducting an investigation on the spot,” Hangaas said at 7:30 PM.
