Police were sent armed to five schools Tuesday morning following threats. Police eventually found that the threats were not real.

The threats that were made during the early hours Tuesday morning were about someone coming into the schools armed, the Inland Police District reports.

The threats included schools in Hadeland, Gjøvik, Ringsaker, Hamar and Kongsvinger.

Armed police were present at the schools at school start Tuesday morning.

– “The threats are now considered ‘not real’. We have finished our patrols of the schools. The threats will be investigated further,” police say.
