At least ten people tested positive for coronavirus after Ekstremsportveko in Voss. Now everyone who has been to parties with Ekstremsportveko participants is asked to get tested.

The people in question are encouraged to book an appointment for testing today or tomorrow, the newspaper Bergens Tidende writes.

The municipality emphasized that the testing invitation does not apply to those who have been to events under the auspices of Ekstremsportveko, such as award ceremonies or the like.

At least ten people are infected with coronavirus after attending Ekstremsportveko – most likely the delta variant. The number of cases might increase.

Ekstremsportveko is the largest extreme sports festival in the world and is hosted every year in Voss, Western Norway, according to the event’s website.
