Avalanche danger warning issued for several places in Southern Norway
There is a significant risk of avalanches in several places in the Møre og Romsdal, Vestlandet, and Innlandet counties.
In Romsdalen, Sunnmøre, Indre Fjordane, Jotunheimen, Indre Sogn, Voss, and Hardanger, the avalanche danger warning is at level 3 – which entails significant danger.
The assessment is connected to strong winds and precipitation. Due to local differences, conditions can change quickly.
On Twitter, the Joint Rescue Coordination Centers in Southern Norway writes that they encourage everyone going on a trip to check the weather forecast and avalanche warning before departing.
