After Bahareh Letnes posted a post on her Instagram account in support of the slain Iranian general Qasem Soleimani, she received a death threat.

Norwegian-Iranian Bahareh Letnes this weekend posted an Instagram post on her private profile in support of the deceased general, who was killed in a US drone attack.

The incident has had serious consequences and made the situation in the Middle East very tense.

On Monday morning, Letnes discovered that her post had been deleted by Instagram.

– “Instagram thinks that I have broken their guidelines,” says Letnes to VG.

Facing the newspaper The day, Letnes confirms that she has received both support messages and hate messages after the post, and that she has also received a death threat.

The newspaper has accessed a screenshot of the threat, listing both Letnes’ full name, date of birth and address in addition to the words “you are dying today” in Arabic.

According to Bahareh Letnes, the threat has been reported to the police.

a society that allows differences of opinion–prospers
I defend her right to have her own opinion.
a society which condemns differences of opinion or differences of culture etc..cannot thrive ..and shrivels and dies.
Such societies learn nothing ..contribute nothing and are pretty much a waste of space..and oxygen–they’re irrelevant and just on a fast track to nowhere.
