Bergen: 21-year-old who bought sex from 15-year-old via Snapchat sentenced to prison
A 21-year-old man has been sentenced to five months in prison for buying sex from a 15-year-old via Snapchat.
Ninety days are made conditional on a probationary period of two years. The punishment is in accordance with the prosecutor’s claim, the newspaper Bergensavisen writes.
The man used an escort service and thought he met a girl his own age.
“I ordered a girl, but I asked for one my age. I did not know she was so young,” he said in court.
“This is something I will regret for the rest of my life,” he continued.
Hordaland District Court believes that he was not careful enough about the girl’s age. The incident took place in Bergen in October last year.
