Bergen: 31 new corona cases registered

A total of 31 new infection cases have been registered in Bergen in the last 24 hours – five more than the average in the last week.

One of the newly infected is under six years old, while another two are under twelve years old.

Two people have an unknown route of transmission, and five have an uncertain route of transmission, the Municipality stated on its website.

Furthermore, 22 of those infected are close contacts, and there is one case of imported infection.

So far, 5,409 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus in Bergen since the pandemic started in March of 2020.

A total of 2,133 people tested themselves in Bergen on Tuesday.
