Bergen: 39 new infection cases reported

A total of 39 new corona-infected people have been registered in Bergen in the last 24 hours. That is 20 more than the average last week.

Out of the total, 32 are close contacts. Three have an unknown route of transmission, and four have an uncertain route of transmission, Bergen Municipality stated.

So far, 5,102 people in Bergen have been diagnosed with the coronavirus since March of 2020.

The daily average in Bergen in the last week was 19 infection cases.

Furthermore, 3,408 people tested themselves on Thursday, which is a new record in the Municipality.

In addition, 21 new cases of the British mutated virus have been reported.
