A 78-year-old man in Bergen is charged with repeated abuse of two small boys over a number of years. One of them is his son.

Both boys were under ten years old when the abuse took place. According to the indictment, they were at the age of two and five, respectively, when the abuse started. The abuse allegedly took place between 1992 and 2000 in Bergen.

“The police only became aware of the case when it was reported last autumn,” public prosecutor Trond Høvik told the newspaper Bergensavisen.

The accused has admitted partial criminal guilt, the newspaper Bergens Tidende writes.

The case will be processed in Hordaland District Court in March. Two days have been set aside for the trial.
