A man in his 50s who is accused of the attempted murder of his own mother in Fana in Bergen on Monday night has confessed to the crime.
“He has acknowledged the facts. He is having a hard time,” the man’s defender, lawyer Kaj Wigum told the newspaper Bergensavisen (BA).
On Monday night, the police were notified that a woman had been injured at a private address in Fana.
The suspected perpetrator was armed with a knife, but the woman was not seriously injured.
On Wednesday, police attorney Lillian A. Kleppe confirmed to BA that the victim’s own son was charged with attempted murder.
