Bergen Municipality will offer drop-in corona vaccination from Tuesday. Residual doses from already opened vaccine vials will be made available. These are doses that must be used within six hours.

It is not guaranteed that there will be available doses every day, leader for the vaccine project in the Municipality Elisabeth Engelsen told newspaper Bergens Tidende.

From 4 PM on Monday, residents can register for any available doses on the Municipality’s website. The registration is only valid for one day.

“From 4 PM every Sunday to Thursday, residents can register that they want to receive a residual dose the next day. This ensures that the citizens themselves decide which days they want to be available for a ‘controlled’ drop-in appointment,” Engelsen said.

Seven new corona infection cases have been registered in Bergen in the last 24 hours, the highest number since the beginning of July. Three of the infected are in the age group 13–19 years, two are in the age group 20–29 years, one is in the age group 30–39 years, and one is between 50 and 59 years.

A total of 961 people tested themselves for corona on Sunday.
