Bergen: Three people fined 20,000 kroner each for violating corona quarantine hotel rules

According to the police, three people have been fined NOK 20,000 each for refusing to go to quarantine hotels.

The cases are related to the time period when quarantine hotels were mandatory for travelers from certain countries.

Two of the fined are women in their 20s who in early July traveled to Bergen airport, Flesland, from Turkey via Germany, the Western Police District reports.

In addition, a man in his 40s who came to Bergen from Greece via Germany and Denmark at the end of July must pay a fine of NOK 20,000.

All three have been informed of the decision, the police reports.
