German company BioNTech, which has developed a corona vaccine in collaboration with the American company Pfizer, plans to build a vaccine factory in Africa next year.

It is not known where the factory will be built, but BioNTech states that they have initiated talks with the authorities in both Rwanda and Senegal and that they are focusing on starting construction in mid-2022.

The company states that the factory will initially have the capacity to produce 50 million doses of corona vaccine annually.

According to the plan, the factory will also produce a vaccine against malaria and tuberculosis.
