Blowing snow danger warning issued for North Troms and Finnmark
The combination of strong northern winds and fresh snow will lead to local blowing snow over 200-400 meters in North Troms and Finnmark on Sunday.
Blowing snow is snow lifted from the surface by the wind that reduces visibility.
“The driving conditions could be difficult – use the right tires and drive according to the conditions,” the meteorologists warned. They have issued a yellow danger warning.
On the Finnmarksvidda, 20-30 centimeters of snow have been reported in some places on Saturday.
