Boy (12) died after drowning in Tyssedal
The younger of the two Iraqi brothers who were picked up from the bottom of Tysso river in Tyssedal in Odda municipality, showing no signs of life, is dead. The condition of the older brother is still critical.
Haukeland University Hospital informed this on Monday afternoon. According to the hospital, the brothers were 12 and 14 years old.
The two stayed at the Hero Norway’s decentralized reception centers in Tyssedal.
The two brothers were going for a swim in a natural pool at Tysso river in Odda municipality when the accident happened on Saturday afternoon. Both were found lifeless at the bottom of the three-meter deep water.
