Boy (16) is killed in motorcycle accident in Molde
A 16-year-old boy died after he went off the road on a motorcycle in Mordal in Molde municipality Tuesday.
‘He went off the road in a curve. NPRA accident group and police have been on the site and done investigations, and we are investigating the incident further’, said operations manager in Møre og Romsdal police district – Jan Helge Kjøl, to NTB.
The 16-year-old is from Eide in Nordmøre and was riding a light motorcycle. He was taken by ambulance to Molde Hospital following the accident happened at 16 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, and police reported just after midnight Wednesday morning his death. The teen’s kin have been notified.
The accident occurred at county road 662 in Mordal, west of Molde municipality. The road was closed for a period after the accident.
