British virus variant: Eight new infection cases registered in Trondheim this weekend

During the weekend, eight people in Trondheim tested positive for COVID-19. All of them are infected with the British coronavirus variant.

Three people were registered as infected on Friday. On Saturday, three people were also registered as infected, while the number of new infections on Sunday amounted to two.

All the eight people have a mild course of the disease, Trondheim Municipality stated in a press release on Monday.

A total of 1,468 tests were performed in the three days.
