The Oslo police arrested a person on Monday night for repeated violations of quarantine regulations in connection with the Coronavirus.

The Oslo police reported the arrest at 3.28am and that there were repeated violations.

According to TV 2, there is talk of a 22-year-old man now facing six months in prison.

He is said to have been placed in quarantine for 14 days when he arrived in Norway from Sweden on Wednesday 25 March.

– Night to Saturday the man was reported for a disturbing the peace at Alexander Kielland’s place. The police then became acquainted with the man who is supposed to be in quarantine, so he was also reported to have violated the quarantine regulations, says operations manager Vidar Pedersen.

This did not prevent the man from going out again night to Sunday, and again night to Monday, when he was thus arrested. He was notified every time, and now faces fines and, in the worst case, up to six months in prison for violating the Infection Protection Act.
