A married couple in Sandnes was attacked with an ax and knife by a man who broke into their home on Sunday morning. Armed police are searching for the perpetrator.
The police were notified of the incident at 7:30 AM on Sunday.
“They have superficial wounds as a result of the incident. The police are on-site and searching for the perpetrator,” operations manager Jøran Solheim in the Southwestern Police District said.
The perpetrator has a black jacket, dark hair, and a beard.
If anyone sees a person who fits the description in Sandnes, they are asked to report it via the emergency phone line 112.
