Police in several districts around the country have had their hands full night to Sunday. Especially in Bodø, they report many incidents of violence.

– Travel night in Bodø city center. Unusually many fights ended / averted by police. Fortunately, none of the fights had serious consequences, police write on Twitter.

From midnight, the police in Nordland went out on 51 incidents, according to TV 2.

– There has been a lot of unrest last night. We encourage people to enjoy themselves, but still behave. That is what you are going to do for Christmas, says operations manager Ivar Bo Nilsson of Nordland police district to the channel. He believes the reason may be that many have traveled home this Christmas.

In Oslo, there have been just under 60 assignments related to disturbances of order, fighting, bodily injury and body offense.

The police have also marked the pre-Christmas time in Agder.

– In general, the night can be summed up as hectic. A lot of people out and at times hardly feel. The police have had to expel about 20 people as a result of a disturbance of the order. No major serious incidents, police wrote on Twitter.
