Color Line cancels all ten ferry departures to Denmark and Sweden on Sunday due to poor weather conditions.

The last ferry departure left the Kristiansand terminal at 7.30 on Sunday morning, writes NRK.

According to Color Line’s Information Director Helge Otto Mathisen, thousands may be affected by the cancellations.

“Obviously, several thousand are affected,” he tells NTB.

He says the passengers will be reimbursed for the ticket and the opportunity to re-book.

The company is now working to inform everyone who is booked to travel.

Of the ten departures, six are between Sandefjord and Strømstad, two between Kristiansand and Hirtshals and two between Larvik and Hirtshals, the overview shows on the company’s website.

The planned departure from Larvik to Hirtshals at 12:45 on Sunday has been rescheduled to 7:30 on Monday morning.
