Condolences protocol is posted in Oslo Cathedral

A condolence protocol will be posted at the Oslo Cathedral on Tuesday at 10 am in connection with Ari Behn’s funeral, Geir Håkonsund reports to NTB.

The protocol will be until Thursday at 4 pm and the church will be open all night from 6 pm to 6 am Friday 3 January.

– “The family’s wish has always been that everyone who wants to say a goodbye to Ari should have the opportunity, says a message from Håkonsund, who is acting as the family’s spokesperson.

In connection with Behn’s funeral on Friday, January 3, the Oslo Cathedral will open at 12 noon, one hour before the funeral commences. Great attendance is expected at the funeral.

Håkonsund encourages those who want to be inside the church during the funeral, to be out well in advance. There are no reserved places for anyone but the family and Behn’s closest.

-“I still want to remind you that this is a family in deep sorrow and hope people respect it and not take pictures and video of the family in the church.”

Ari Behn will be officiated from Oslo Cathedral on Friday, January 3 at 1 pm The funeral will be open to all. Håkonsund has previously stated that Oslo Bishop Kari Veiteberg is to officiate the funeral.
