The Conservatives (H) are in favor of the corona financial support schemes for the business community, which the government presented on Tuesday.

“The Conservatives support the government in introducing compensation for business and employees in the current situation. People and companies need to quickly get more predictability for the coming months,” fiscal policy spokesperson Tina Bru (H) said.

On Tuesday, the government presented a large number of financial measures to keep the economy going through a new round of strict infection control rules.

“The important thing for us is that the industries that are now hardest hit by the government measures get help,” Bru added.

FRP: Not good enough

According to the Progress Party (FRP), urgent action is needed when it comes to the wage support scheme.

Furthermore, the FRP believes that the compensation scheme for the business community must be extended.

“What has been presented is not good enough, and now we have to roll up our sleeves to secure people’s jobs,” FRP’s Roy Steffensen, who sits on the finance committee in the Norwegian parliament (Storting), said.
