The 19 year old Russian who was convicted of having a homemade bomb with intention to detonate in Greenland in 2017, was sent out of Norway on Saturday, according to TV 2.

The plane departed at 13:00, according to TV 2’s sources.

In November, the Ministry of Justice decided that the 19 year old was a danger to basic national interests and should be expelled from the country. The Russian sued the state for a reversal of the decision, but did not win.

Oslo District Court concluded at the beginning of May that the deportation decision against the 19 year old was valid. The 19 year old’s defense lawyer John Christian Elden then told NRK that the verdict would probably be appealed.

In September last year, the 19-year-old was sentenced to ten months’ imprisonment by the Supreme Court after taking a homemade bomb in Greenland in Oslo in 2017.

Oslo District Court believes that the Russian has been further radicalized since then and believes there is a risk that he will commit or contribute to terror in Norway.
