After multiple warm and sunny days in much of Norway, cooler weather is now expected all over the country – especially in the north.
“The whole country will get cooler this week. North of Stad, it will not only be cooler – it will be even wintery,” yr.no writes on Twitter.
The cold weather is expected to last for some time to come. In the north, several danger warnings have been issued.
“Strong northwesterly winds and snow showers are expected to lead to local snowstorms in Finnmark on Tuesday and Wednesday,” the forecast reads.
In addition, moderate icing is expected on ships in exposed coastal and fjord areas of Finnmark and North Troms.
