Coop withdraws salad due to suspicion of E.coli
Coop is withdrawing Coop Gourmet Salad (110 grams) with the expiration date of August 13, 2021, due to suspicion of high values of E.coli bacteria.
“Customers should have confidence in the food they buy at Coop, and therefore we want to be on the safe side and notify our customers,” communications manager Harald Kristiansen in Coop Norway stated.
The newspaper Hamar Arbeiderblad first mentioned the case. The issue was detected in a routine daily check.
Customers who have purchased the salad with the specific expiration date are encouraged to return it to the store so that they can get a refund.
