The corona infection trend in Norway is slightly rising. The Norwegian Institute of Public Health (FHI) is worried that it could get worse.

“It’s not going down – so we consider the infection situation as unstable. As we do not see the decline that we hoped for, with the measures that have been introduced,” Geir Bukholm at the FHI told newspaper VG.

He also believes that there may be several cases of infection that have not been registered and that the infection situation may therefore be worse than current figures show.

“We see about the same level of infection that we have seen in the last three weeks.

“But the picture is characterized by the fact that we do not know if people have tested themselves as usual during the Christmas weekend,” he added.

On Wednesday, 732 new cases of infection were registered in Norway.
