A construction site at Grünerløkka in Oslo has been closed after 18 employees were diagnosed with coronavirus. 150 people have been quarantined after the outbreak.

On Thursday, mass testing was performed on the 150 people who work on the construction site after infection was detected earlier this week, newspaper VG writes.

“All of them are in quarantine until they receive the test results,” communications manager Wibecke Brusdal in AF Gruppen said.

This is the third known outbreak of infection at construction sites in Oslo recently.

On Thursday, it became known that 32 people have been infected at the construction site of Petter Stordalen’s new hotel in Oslo.

There was also an outbreak of infection at Pressens hus in Oslo. At least 37 people at the construction site were confirmed to be infected at the end of January.
