Corona outbreak reported at the University Hospital of Northern Norway in Tromsø

Nine people have been infected at the University Hospital of Northern Norway. The management of the hospital does not know where the infection came from.

Four patients and five employees at the Department of Cardiology at the University Hospital of Northern Norway (UNN) in Tromsø have been diagnosed with the coronavirus, the newspaper Nordlys writes. 

“Infection tracking is underway, but it is not known where the infection came from,” Jørn Resvoll at the press department at the UNN noted.

The management was in meetings on Monday to assess how the department should operate moving forward.

In the last 24 hours, 75 people have been diagnosed with the coronavirus in Tromsø.
