More than 70 trucks took part in a procession in Bergen and Askøy on Saturday to show support for those who are keeping the wheels turning through the corona crisis.
Initiator Aleksander Øie was pleasantly surprised by how many people showed up, according to Bergens Tidende. He had expected 50 trucks, but 74 turned out instead.
“This is a tribute to everyone who is at work during a difficult time,” says Øie.
The trucks drove via Lagunen, Birkelundstoppen and past the children’s clinic at Haukeland University Hospital.
