According to the country’s authorities, around 40,000 people have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine in Sweden.

Like Norway, Sweden started the vaccination on December 27. The country managed to vaccinate around 40,000 people early this week.

In Norway, just over 11,000 people have received the first injection of vaccine from Pfizer and BioNTech.

The Swedish Medicines Agency is also preparing ongoing reports on side effects.

So far, there are mostly mild reactions and reactions that are common when the immune system is activated.

Two people have died after receiving the vaccine in Sweden.

Both were elderly and ill, and the audit says it is impossible to establish any connection between the vaccine and the deaths.
