As of midnight, the total of corona-infected people in Norway since March amounted to 15,012, preliminary figures show. That is an increase of 229 reported cases in the last 24 hours.
In the last two days, the increase amounted to 408 reported cases, according to figures from the National Reporting System for Infectious Diseases (MSIS).
On average, it takes one to two days from the time a test result is available until it is registered in MSIS.
A total of 25 people are hospitalized for COVID-19, according to the latest update on Wednesday.
Two patients are on respirators.
The death toll related to the coronavirus amounts to 275.
