On Wednesday, several Norwegians with proven Coronavirus infection were refused to board a plane from Gdansk in Poland to Bodø.

-“They will get the health care they need down there. It is not at all relevant that someone with an infection is going on a plane,” says infection control chief Kai Brynjar Hagen in Bodø municipality to NRK.

We are talking about several Norwegians who have been on holiday in Poland, and they even contacted the Norwegian authorities when several in the travel party experienced symptoms of Covid-19.

The government has issued a strong call not to travel abroad unless it is strictly necessary. On Wednesday, all “green” countries were therefore adjusted to “yellow”, to emphasize just this.

On Wednesday, it was also announced that Poland will be “red” on the infection map.
