About 2,000 tourists, most of them from China and South Korea, have cancelled trips with Fjordline between Norway and Hirtshals in Denmark.

This applies mainly to groups of tourists from the two countries, said CEO Rickard Ternblom to Bergens Tidende.

Fjordline has routes to Hirtshals from Bergen, Stavanger, Langesund and Kristiansand. The company also sails between Sandefjord and Strømstad.

Cancellations are for scheduled trips in the coming months.

There have been no similar cancellations from other groups of tourists.
