On Tuesday, Crown Prince Haakon visited Indre Østfold, which registered 13 new cases of infection on the same day.

The Crown Prince visited a test station that was established in August. The visit was part of his tour along the Norwegian coast to six counties. The purpose is to meet people, listen to their experiences and learn about the challenges they have faced after the pandemic hit the country in March.

All the new cases of infection in Indre Østfold are related to the outbreak in Sarpsborg. Indre Østfold also had an outbreak in August which they quickly gained control of.

– “I am impressed with the work that has been done in Indre Østfold, and want to give a big thank you to the inhabitants who follow the infection control restrictions,” the Crown Prince said during the visit on Tuesday, before the new cases of infection were known.
