Crown Princess and Prince as well as the Prime Minister to attend 22nd of July worship

The Crown Prince and Princess, the Prime Minister and several other public figures will be participating in the Oslo Cathedral memorial service on the fifth anniversary of the terrorist attacks of July 22, 2011.

– Oslo Cathedral has been a focal point for many of the terrorist attack mourners. In worship we will give room for sorrow, longing and memories attached to all participants in the Norwegian tragedy five years ago, says Helga Haugland Byfuglien, president of the Bishops’ Conference.

Both Crown Prince Haakon, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, and Prime Minister Erna Solberg will be present, in addition to numerous representatives of the public in Norway.

Former Prime Minister and Labor Party leader Jens Stoltenberg will come with a greeting during the service, Tord Gustavsen will contribute musically with cantor Kåre Nordstoga and The Oslo Cathedral Choir.
The theme of the service will be “Peace Thoughts, future and hope.”
