Customs officers seized almost 70,000 cigarettes and large quantities of tobacco at Skotterud
Last month, customs officers at the Magnormoen control station seized close to 70,000 cigarettes and 10 kilos of fruit tobacco in a car at Skotterud in Eidskog.
The car was stopped and checked on national road 2 on the evening of October 24.
The tax evasion amounted to NOK 242,500.
In August, customs officers at the Magnormoen checkpoint seized over two and a half million cigarettes and 5,000 liters of liquor, hidden in the cargo of an Estonian lorry.
