In the first quarter of this year, the Customs Administration’s quota app had 11,580 customs clearances, which is a new record. It was beer and wine which were most used.

The application makes it possible to calculate the quota, so that you can tell if you have more alcohol and tobacco than allowed. What you have exceeded by, you can pay via the app.

In 2018, a total of 26,671 customs clearances were carried out in the app, amounting to almost NOK 18 million wrote the customs agency in a press release.

The customs clearances in January, February and March this year amounted to NOK 2.8 million.

In the first quarter of this year, beer was sold for NOK 1.4 million and wine for NOK 805,000.

60% of the customs clearance in the app, which was launched in 2016, was paid with Vipps in the first quarter.
