There is a great deal of rainfall forecasted that may create flood hazards in Telemark, Buskerud, and in parts of Oppland and Akershus.
We have sent color warnings for heavy rain showers on Tuesday night and Wednesday in østafjell. Locally, there can be 15-20 millimeters of precipitation in one hour, reports the meteorologists at the Meteorological Institute.
NVE has given a yellow level of flood hazard. The warning is valid until Wednesday morning.
Yellow level means that you must be aware of your surroundings and that there can be local damage. There is a danger of landslides, floods in streams and small rivers and great water flow in relation to what is common in this season.
