The opposition party Left, Denmark’s Liberal Party (Venstre) wants to let the Danes party after 11 PM despite the pandemic.

According to the current rules in Denmark, private parties must end at 11 PM to limit the spread of infection.

But Venstre believes it is not necessary to have such strict restrictions now that the Danes are about to be vaccinated.

“We want to clean up all the silly rules. Let’s have a little confidence in the Danes. It is not the case that the coronavirus is more easily transmitted after 10 PM,” Venstre’s Sofie Løhde told Danish TV2.

The Danish Conservative People’s Party also believes that the party restrictions should be reduced.
